WinCC Send Mail VBScript

Throughout all the practices, we have already seen how to send emails with Factory Talk View, one of the first was with CitectScada and Outlook Express, and now with little difference in the code compared to Factory Talk View, we will see it in WinCC, which will also serve us for WinCC Flexible Runtime and WinCC RT Advanced from TIA Portal.

For new students, to create this procedure, we open the VBS-Editor, once opened, in the workplace, we have four different tabs, we select Project Module and create a new file.

I have created a procedure to send emails, passing as arguments, the recipient SendTo, with a copy to CC, Title Subject, Message Text, and if we attach any file Attach.

As the Mail server, it is Gmail; if using another, adapt the necessary parameters.

Subsequently, in the event of what interests us, a button, an alarm, etc... we call our function.
