About me

I'm Pedro Pagán Pallarés, from Murcia, and co-author of PLC-HMI-SCADAS. I'm an automation engineer with over 10 years of experience in the industry and specialised training in industrial organisation. My profile goes well beyond programming: I know the full process, from the field to the software that enables data analysis and decision-making.

Throughout my career I've managed and taken part in numerous industrial automation projects, leading teams and coordinating every phase: engineering, commissioning, system integration and production follow-up. I'm equally passionate about the technical side and about managing people and resources.

I've always been drawn to the world of software and technology. That drive has led me to continuous learning, and over the last 3 years I've focused on researching and applying Artificial Intelligence in industrial environments — a field that is completely transforming how we understand production processes, maintenance and data-driven decision-making.

I met Jose Manuel Luque while we were working together in the industry, and we connected right away — not just professionally but also as friends. Although today we each follow different paths, our friendship remains intact and so does the enthusiasm for keeping this project alive together.

My vision

Industry is undergoing an unprecedented transformation. The convergence of automation, data and artificial intelligence opens up possibilities that seemed like science fiction just a few years ago. My goal is to be at that intersection — connecting the physical world of machines with the digital world of data and algorithms.

I firmly believe in teams, in continuous learning, and in the fact that the best decisions are made when field experience meets the right tools.

For me, being part of PLC-HMI-SCADAS is a way of giving back to the community everything this profession has given me. I've always believed that knowledge is worth more when it's shared, and this project is the proof.
