FIX32 was one of the first SCADAs for Windows, evolving into iFix under GE Fanuc (now Emerson). Zenon by COPA-DATA is a modern platform that combines HMI and SCADA with a "zero engineering" philosophy and extensive connectivity. TopKapi by AREAL is a French SCADA used in infrastructure and utilities.
Each has its own characteristics: iFix with its process database system and Fix Background, Zenon with its no-programming parametrization, and TopKapi with its remote management focus. Here we document the configurations and tests we have performed with each one.
